- Steven Sabel, Producing Artistic Director Rogue Valley Shakespeare Company
Steven has more than 40 years' experience in theatre production, including 20 years in production management. He is an award-winning producer and director with more than 165 successful productions to his credit. His independent production company, STS Productions, has produced successful theatrical ventures in a wide variety of venues for nearly 30 years. He has also served as a production management and marketing consultant for a variety of clients, and he has conducted successful student and corporate workshops for countless groups, large and small.
As the founding artistic director of the Redlands Shakespeare Festival, Steven managed the creation and foundation of the organization from the ground up and served as both artistic director and executive director of the thriving organization for nine successful years. During his tenure, the Redlands Shakespeare Festival produced 23 successful full-scale theatrical productions, 10 successful major special events, more than 25 professional lectures, more than 40 educational workshops, and nearly 50 educational school-site presentations.
As the founding artistic director of the Archway Theatre in North Hollywood, Steven conducted and managed all operations of the theatre and produced an average of 10 productions each season for eight successful years, during which the theatre garnered many awards and accolades as part of the North Hollywood Arts District.
